Esteemed youths, what you need to succeed in life is a BRILLIANT MIND not a BRILLIANT CERTIFICATE.My Dear, life won’t give you what you deserve based on your certificate but based on your impact.
In the real world of success, you’re not qualified by your physical qualification but by your inner (intellectual) qualification.
When one applies for a job and is being interviewed the interviewer is looking forward to the reasoning capacity and smart thinking of the applicant.
Now let me illustrate with this example: two persons (Mike and John) applied for the job having studied the same discipline and Mike had a Second Class Lower and John First Class and during interview , Mike was more fluent and intellectually versatile than John. Now if you are the interviewer who would you employ?— Mike of course and you would not agree any less with me here. Mike’s inner certificate not his physical certificate qualified him as the best choice for the job irrespective of the fact that he had a second class certificate as against John’s first class.
Before you start arguing with me, read this my dear;
Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft dropped out of Harvard University, but today his discoveries about software and his sense of creativity makes him one of the richest men in the world. He used his brilliant mind not brilliant certificates to change the world.
The richest, most successful people and most famous set of people on earth today are not people having brilliant certificates but brilliant minds. They are problem solvers. They are the game changers. Most of inventors are people of brilliant minds not brilliant certificates.
Hey, I’m not advocating illiteracy o. Education is good but my point is that education that does not incline human mind towards creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation is worthless, irrespective of how much it costs to acquire such education.
You see my dear, the bane of our country, Nigeria and Africa at large is that the kind of education our school system is giving doesn’t encourage creativity and entrepreneurship.
The kind of education I’m advocating for is the one that enhances potentials and encourages creativity among the youths.
I will continue to say this even if people call me names, I no mind o.
You can be a graduate and still be well grounded in poverty, if you don’t develop your mind.
TMCites, do not be deceived by your certificate. It’s never a meal ticket. Do everything in your capacity to develop your mind, potentials and problems solving ability.
I pray your destiny will not be stranded by certificate mentality.
Hope you’ve learnt one or two things from this today. If you answered YES, I’m grateful! Let’s do it again some other time.
Always say NO to Money-Doubling Scheme and it’s siblings masquerading online as a genuine investment.
Good Afternoon and enjoy this Thrilling Thursday.
