Good Evening TMCites,
Continued from Part1…
I did like to make it clear to you at this point that am not against any religion (Christianity, Islam, etc) because we all have a supreme being we submit to. and my opinion is in no way trying to convince you to deviate from your religious beliefs.
But come to think of it, have you sat down to question (think) some of the doctrines we are meant to adhere to?—I bet most people do not even reason towards this direction and it is very killing religions in our dear nation.
Well I would not be talking much on doctrines because we will just sleep here today, let’s talk about the mentality which our religious leaders having teaching and making us believe its meant to be that way, to be specific the (poor man) mentality.
I will be using some Bible scriptures to point out my points
Proverbs 22:7: Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.
Now the above scripture talks about Debt and God clearly states here the exact situation of the poor being ruled by the rich and we will both agree here that it is not the will of God for his children to be debtors which in other words to say his will is for his children to be rich. now look at the scripture: Romans 13:8: Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
2. Financial responsibility:
1 Timothy 5:8: But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.
Now I ask the question, Can a poor man provide for his family and relatives?— I bet Not, so you will see here that even God knows the a poor man’s faith is compromised because for a man to focus and worship his maker truly then his faith should be solid and without compromise. let me give this practical illustration:
A of Preacher came to a bar to share the word of God to some group of young guys who were having some chilled bottles of Liquor and immediately he made known their reason for approaching them.
One the guys cut them short and said to him (preacher) ‘wait before you say anything, please sit down and eat first because you look hungry’.
and after he ate and wanted to share the word with them another guy in their midst said ‘There is no need for that, because if those who worship this your God are just like you then we did better remain the way we are.
Now, do you see this said preacher because of mentality of ‘Poverty is a sign of holiness’ has defamed the name of God before the unbelievers, for my Christian brothers and sisters you can remember this scripture where God said ‘For his has called us from darkness into his marvelous light’. God or Allah is not poor so do not think poverty is a criteria for a believer because obviously its not and will never be.
I will stop here, but before i go I leave you with this Scripture.
Proverbs 13:22: Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.
